The concept of this intimate restaurant was inspired by the culture of southern Spain. The design contrasts moments of traditional detailing with a simple and minimalistic building massing. The building’s exterior walls are composed of white brick and stucco that are interrupted by moments of decorative steel screens that allow views into the activity beyond. Patrons arrive into a courtyard filled with orange trees, a billowing fabric covering, and floors lined with brick pavers. Custom mahogany storefront connects the courtyard to the interior dining space and open kitchen beyond. The warmth of the natural brick and wood tones is accented by moments of bright blue and yellow tile framing the bar and kitchen.
